Hidden Elements added to all your web pages
Meta Tags and other hidden elements are important to give the search engines
exactly what they are looking for so they will score your web site
correctly in their standings.
Once your site is submitted to the search engines they send in a "spider" computer to crawl through your pages and index the entire site. They then create
an index based on your keywords and offer it in to browser results when enough of the keywords
are cross referenced in an online search. Making the spiders happy is what it is all
about. << top
Major Search
Engine Submission
We submit you automatically every other month to all the
major search engines (except yahoo, as they now
charge a separate yearly fee for businesses to be listed). We have found this to be the best
timeframe for getting the spiders to return to your web site over and over again. Once
our software has your information entered it is an automatic process. <<

Directory (1200+) Listings Submission
Once popular, these directory
listings services are no longer an added benefit to your
search engine placement, in fact, they may even hurt
your standings. At one time having your listing on
these pages helped but that was before they automated
the processes of submission. Now they have so many
submissions that if your link was placed on one of their
pages it would only be there for an hour at most before
it was pushed off by more recent submissions.
There is no benefit to having your site listed there for
an hour or even a day if the search engines don't index
the site during that period. So these directories
have pretty much automated themselves right out of
existence.
The other service these directories
offer is something you don't want and that is an endless
supply of junk email sent to the submission email
address. Many of the lists will not include the
site unless you give them a real working email address
(they use an email verification system) and that then
becomes the target for spam filled emails not only from
the directory service but also from lists of email
addresses that they sell to others.
For these reasons we no longer submit
to these directories and unless their tactics change it
is really best that you stay out of their databases.
Many automated software programs are available on the
Internet allowing you to automate this process to submit
to these directories. It is best if you do not
bother with them as they could not only cost you money
but they could actually hurt your "good" standings in
some of the Search Engine indexes. << top
Our
"Link List" cross referencing program
We add a page in your web site that the spiders can view but isn't seen by
your web site visitors. This hidden page contains a list of links back to all the web
sites in our Link List Service program. The other web sites in turn, have your web site name
listed in them as well. What this produces is a cross reference of links all over the
internet with all the sites pointing back to each other. This is a proven plus for
almost all the search engine ranking systems and will give you an added boost in the indexes.
Once the spider enters your site it is taken to the link list page right away.
In the AltaVista search engine you can do a search
using "+link:telesites.net" (without the quotes) and see the results of our Link List program
at work. All the sites that are listed have links back to us through the link list.

Search Engine Science
Search Engine placement is not an overnight thing, sometimes it can take
months, even yeas of submitting to get you into the upper listings. Make any mistakes
and your site will not be considered for a listing or worse, it can be removed after months or
even years of successful submitting. We have custom software that allows us to place
your META TAGS and KEYWORDS (correctly) into your web site on all the relevant pages. It
will automatically submit your site for placement in the top
30+ Online Search Engine Services.
Once submitted they will send a "robot" (BOT) computer or "spider" into your site at sometime
within the next few hours or 2 to 4 months. As you can
see the search engine companies vary quite a bit.
We also have a
Link
List page that will list your web site in all our
other hosted web sites and sites that use our search
engine submission services. This gives you links back to your web site from many different web sites.
This is a known secret to getting higher placement in most search engine indexes.

"Real" Search Engines
We submit you to all the "friendly" or "top"
30+ search engines. We use
an automated program that keeps your settings right on your web site, we also tweak your web
site with hidden elements so it
will score high in the placements using keywords and meta tags. These search engines are
changing their rules all the time and we keep a watchful eye on them for you leaving you to do
what you do best, your business. << top
Guidelines used by Search Engines
Here is an overview of what rules are
used by the search engines for ranking and indexing of
web sites. These are not exact rules, they are not
posted anywhere online and they change from time to
time. But this is a pretty good idea as to what
they are looking for.
Pages wanted in site match indexes:
- Original and unique content of
genuine value
- Pages designed primarily for humans,
with search engine considerations
secondary
- Hyperlinks intended to help people
find interesting, related content, when
applicable
- Metadata (including title and
description) that accurately describes
the contents of a Web page
- Good Web design in general
Unfortunately, not all Web pages contain
information that is valuable to a user. Some
pages are created deliberately to trick the
search engine into offering inappropriate,
redundant or poor-quality search results;
this is often called "spam." They do not
want these pages in the indexes.
Pages not wanted in site match indexes:
Some, but not all, examples of the more
common types of pages that are not wanted
include:
- Pages that harm accuracy, diversity
or relevance of search results
- Pages dedicated to directing the
user to another page ("doorway pages")
- Pages that have substantially the
same content as other pages on the web
- Sites with numerous, unnecessary
virtual hostnames
- Pages in great quantity,
automatically generated, with minimal
content or of little value
- Pages using methods to artificially
inflate search engine ranking
- Pages with text that is not easily
read, e.g., text that is too small or is
obscured by the background of the page,
or is located in an area of the page not
visible to users.
- Cloaking or stealth; a technique
used by some web sites to deliver one
page to a search engine and a different
page to all other users
- Excessively cross-linking to inflate
a site's apparent popularity, including
participation in link exchanges or "link
farms"
- Pages built primarily for search
engines or pages with excessive or
off-topic keywords
- Misuse or inaccurate use of
competitor or brand names
- Duplication of content, either by
submission of multiple pages with same
content, submitting the same content
from multiple domains, or submitting the
same content from multiple hosts
- Pages that rely heavily on content
or links to content created for another
web site, such as affiliate content
- Pages that use excessive pop-ups,
interfering with user navigation
- Pages that seem deceptive,
fraudulent or provide a poor user
experience (Descriptions that are not
relevant to the page content)
- Pages that result in a 404 error
- Content, domains, titles, metadata
or descriptions that (i) violate any
applicable law or regulation; (ii)
infringes in any manner any copyright,
patent, trademark, trade secret or other
intellectual property right of any
party; (iii) breach any duty toward or
rights of any person or entity
including, without limitation, rights of
publicity or privacy, or have otherwise
resulted in any consumer fraud, product
liability, tort, breach of contract,
injury, damage or harm of any kind to
any person or entity; (iv) are false or
misleading; and/or (v) are defamatory,
libelous, slanderous or threatening.

Our Submission
Service and Cost
Should you decide to use our submission services we will enter your completed
web site into our automatic submission process and it will be run every other month. Since
rules and search engines are constantly changing we will keep a watchful eye on them, leaving
you to do more productive things, like grow your online business.
Sites that are hosted on our powerful
MS Windows
Advanced servers will have the
opportunity to join-in for a small monthly fee. Sites hosting on other servers can sign
up as well but there will be a fee involved with adding the special hidden elements to your
web sites. This service is not available for parked sites until they
are active working web sites. << top
Results and
Submission / Omission Rules
To see the results of years of our submission process, do a search in any
major search service for "TELEcomputers" or "TELEsites." You will see that almost every
returned item is a link to us in some way. Even some of our client's web sites come up in
the returns. All the services have different indexes and search engines, each one
returns results differently, we suggest you try a few of them to see the difference. In
the AltaVista search engine you can do a search using
"+link:telesites.net" (without the quotes) and see the results of our
Link List program at work. All
the sites that are listed have links back to us.
We do not make these rules or have any say over what is included or omitted
from these third-party search engines. Do not try to bend the rules. Their computers will
simply spider search your site and bump you submission out if it finds one problem. It
will not notify us if you were not accepted or let anyone know if you were bumped from the
services. << top
Other ways to increase
your visibility
Another avenue used by many web site owners to get higher placements is to
create additional full web sites using the same domain name but with different
extensions at the end (.net, .org, etc.) and/or other
domain names that are similar to your main one. We create a
one-page basic web site on each of these using the same keywords and descriptions set up as
your main site. Using a hidden redirection we can send the visiting traffic to them back
to your main site but the spiders see all the
keywords, hidden elements and of
course link list. You can
register new domain names and create these "basic" web sites (including submission services)
right online at our order form.

Guarantees
Since these services are third party companies we do not and cannot make any
guarantees or promises about any placement ranking. We can only do everything we can to
help the process along and give the search engine spiders what they are looking for. Don't be
fooled by companies that offer you guaranteed placement as they may get you listed but they
will not work in the long run. << top
Keyword list information
The keywords list is a list (provided by you) of up to, but no more than,
1000 characters (NOT words) including letters, spaces and comas. Each word or phrase
separated by a coma and single space (i.e.- tele, telephone, phone, telecomputer,
telecomputers, compute, computer, computers, network specialists, system, systems specialist,
telecom, etc.) with every letter in lower case and NO capital letters or symbols. If you
repeat ANY one word too many times, it will cause the search engine "spider" computers to
automatically toss the submission out and your site will not be listed.
<< top
see a sample >>
Site Title and Description paragraph information
The descriptive paragraph (provided by you) can only be 200 characters (NOT words) including
letters, spaces and comas, written in a paragraph form using the normal capitalization (NOT
all caps) and punctuation. There is no need to mention the name of the site or the domain name
as these are already entered in the Site Title or elsewhere and using them, again here, would
only be a waste of valuable space within the 200 characters limit. Do not
leave out punctuation or spaces to save space as this will only cause your submission to be
omitted. << top
