1.0.9 How long does it take to set up a new account?
Most accounts are set up and active on our powerful Windows NT servers within 2 to 4 hours. Once an account is set up, an activation notice will be sent to you via e-mail. We can begin uploading files to your new web site immediately thereafter. Domain account users who want to publish their own sites will be given a temporary URL (numbered domain address) to access their site via the Web prior to the completion of either domain registration or transfer. This process (called propagation) is handled by thousands of Internet servers all over the world that are not under TELEsites.Net control. Once these "index" servers are rebooted with your new address information on them the propagation process is complete. Since these servers are rebooted at different times, all over the world, the site will become available to browsers in different places at different times.
