If you go through FP menu by menu you will find all kinds of really neat stuff that we recommend you do NOT use.

Hover buttons for example will only show up on Internet Explorer and other browsers (AOL, Netscape, WebTV, etc.) have problems seeing them. So if your entire navigation is based on these great looking hover buttons then the majority of people who visit your web site cannot get to the next page.

While we use FP to do all our editing and design work very few of the actual FP menu items can be used "cross-platform." So basically we only use it as a tool to view the source code and switch between normal, HTML and preview modes. That is really it’s only true value, well and the fact that we can edit and use ASP script in it.

Maybe someday when the Internet catches up with Microsoft we will be able to use all these things.

Now you know why people just have us design the web site from the start. While FP pretends to make it easy and offer so many very cool things, in actuality you could spend years learning how to do web sites and still only scratch the surface. This is why we say:

“You focus on your business… we’ll do the web sites!”
